As a Developer at Spadework, you will work on the core of our platform. You build features from idea to production and take full ownership of what you create. You work closely with the founders and see the direct impact of your work in how users use the product.
What you'll be doing
You develop new product features end to end. This means working on our React frontend, FastAPI backend, and integrations with databases such as CockroachDB and ClickHouse.
You take technical ownership of your work, ensuring features are reliable, scalable, and fit well within our GCP-based infrastructure.
You collaborate with the team and founders to clarify requirements and make sound technical decisions. You actively contribute ideas on how to further improve and grow the product.
What we are looking for
You are a pragmatic developer who enjoys taking responsibility and gets energy from building a product that is constantly evolving.
You have one to four years of professional experience as a developer, for example as a Full Stack or Frontend Developer.
You have strong experience with React and a good sense for building modern, user-friendly interfaces.
You have experience with backend development or the motivation to further develop yourself in this area. Experience with Python and FastAPI is a strong plus.
You communicate clearly and can explain technical decisions to colleagues without a technical background.
You work in a structured way, take initiative, and focus on solutions.
We value skills and mindset over formal education.
Experience with our stack such as CockroachDB, ClickHouse, or GCP is a plus, but not required.

A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,800 based on full-time employment, depending on experience. A company laptop is included.
