As a Developer at Spadework, you will work on the core of our platform. You build features from idea to production and take full ownership of what you create. You work closely with the founders and see the direct impact of your work in how users use the product.
What you'll be doing
As a Developer at Spadework, you’ll be working at the very heart of our platform. You’ll build features from initial idea to final production, taking full ownership of everything you create. Working closely with the founders, you’ll see the direct impact of your work on our users in real-time.
End-to-End Feature Development: You’ll develop new product features from start to finish. This involves working across our frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration with our databases.
Technical Ownership: You take pride in your code. You’ll ensure that features remain performant, scalable, and perfectly integrated within our infrastructure.
Collaborative Growth: You’ll team up with the founders to sharpen requirements and make key technical decisions. We expect you to think along with us on how to continuously improve and scale the product.
What we are looking for
You are a pragmatic developer who enjoys taking responsibility and gets energy from building a product that is constantly evolving.
You have one to four years of professional experience as a developer, for example as a Full Stack or Frontend Developer.
You have strong experience with React and a good sense for building modern, user-friendly interfaces.
You have experience with backend development or the motivation to further develop yourself in this area. Experience with Python and FastAPI is a strong plus.
You communicate clearly and can explain technical decisions to colleagues without a technical background.
You work in a structured way, take initiative, and focus on solutions.

A gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,800 based on full-time employment, depending on experience. A company laptop is included.
