How you write one

Who. When. What then.

Three lists to pick from. One block from each already works, and you add as many as the job needs.

Who

Who it works for

The people and companies already in your database.

When

What it reacts to

The moment something moves, or something comes in.

What then

What it does next

Every step you would otherwise have done by hand.

Your agent, in one line
For,when,thenand.
Build this agentChange a block, or add one with the plus. In the product you write this in your own words, one line or a full page.
Before you switch it on

See what it does first. Then switch it on.

A new agent runs as a test on your own data first. You see exactly what it would have done, and on which records, before anything changes. If it is not right, you swap one block and run it again.

Every run keeps its history. What it touched, what it changed, and when.
You can pause an agent at any point and run any run again.

Autonomy

Two switches, per agent.

Start runs

Does it run by itself the moment the signal is there, or does it wait until someone starts it? You set that per agent, and you can change it whenever you want.

Apply changes

Does it carry out its action straight away, or does it put the result up for approval first? Also per agent.

New agents start on the careful side. Nothing goes out the door that you did not switch on.

Delivery

One admin sets it up. Your team never has to log in.

Agents are built by the admins on your account, not by every recruiter separately. What an agent produces lands in one of three places, and your admin picks that per agent.

Option one

On the record

A note on the candidate or contact, holding what changed and when.

Option two

As a task

Assigned to the owner of that record, with a due date attached.

Option three

In the morning email

One mail holding only their own items. On a quiet day, no mail goes out.

Spadework doesn't replace your ATS, it adds to it.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

How long building takes, what an agent may do by itself, and what GDPR allows. Short answers, no small print.

A few minutes. You pick who it works for, what it reacts to and what it does next, you run it as a test on your own data, you switch it on, and it runs at the next signal.

You almost never start from nothing. Usually you copy an agent that is already there and change one block.

It can, and that is a choice. There is a "send an email" action you can switch on. Leave it off and nothing goes out.

So no message ever leaves that you did not switch on yourself, and the run history shows you exactly what went.

No. Spadework has formal partnerships with OTYS, Carerix, Byner and Mysolution, and integrates with others including Bullhorn, Teamtailor and Yellowyard. If yours is not on the list, we look at it with you and get the integration built.

Without an ATS you upload your contacts and receive your opportunities by email.

Yes. Spadework works within your own database, on people who are there with consent, and it is built and hosted in the EU. Nobody outside your own network enters the system.

Nothing is pooled either. One agency's data never ends up with another.

FAQ

Find the answers to your questions here

I already use ChatGPT, why should I let Spadework generate my documents?

You can use ChatGPT to rewrite resumes, but you need to copy the text into Word to apply your own style. That's often where it goes wrong: the formatting jumps, and it rarely looks really sharp. Spadework works with an editor specifically designed for resumes. You can easily move headers, add elements, and edit text, and this always results in a perfect outcome, hassle-free. Additionally, ChatGPT often generates generic texts, which causes you to lose your own style as a company or recruiter. With Spadework, you develop and use your own tone of voice, saving time while retaining your unique appearance.

How does your pricing model work? Do I pay for multiple CVs for the same candidate?

At Spadework, the pricing model works solely based on usage. You choose a package based on how many CVs you want to convert, candidates you want to update, and/or describe Vacancies. Adding extra users is free of charge. For exact prices, we have a calculator in the tool.

How safe is my data?

In project staffing, data security is crucial. Spadework operates fully in accordance with GDPR and the AI Act. All data is processed and stored in encrypted form by major EU cloud providers. We do not train AI models with personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Why is off-the-shelf software a better investment than building it yourself?

Self-developing is slow, expensive, and difficult to maintain. Off-the-shelf software like Spadework is ready to use from day one, is continuously improved, and delivers faster returns with less risk.

What support do you provide?

You always get our team on the line immediately. No long waiting times or bots, but quick answers, personal onboarding, and guidance so you achieve results from day one.
