What you'll be doing
In this role, you take end-to-end responsibility for new product features: from the first idea to a stable production release. You switch effortlessly between frontend and backend, always keeping the bigger picture in mind: performance, scalability, and maintainability. On a typical day, you’ll work on the React frontend and the Python backend with FastAPI. You’ll build and maintain APIs, design data structures, and work with databases like CockroachDB and ClickHouse. You also focus on user experience and translate business requirements into robust, practical code solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with the founders and a small product team. Together, you refine ideas, set priorities on the roadmap, and ensure new functionality reaches customers quickly and reliably. You take technical ownership of your features and make sure they fit within our GCP infrastructure, now and in the future.
What we are looking for
2 to 5 years of experience as a developer in a full stack or backend-oriented role, preferably in a product environment.
Experience with modern frontend development, ideally with React, and a sense for user-friendly interfaces.
Solid backend experience: you work comfortably with APIs, databases, and server-side logic; experience with Python and FastAPI is a big plus.
You communicate clearly, can explain technical choices to colleagues with different backgrounds, and enjoy contributing to the product.
You work in a structured manner, take initiative, think in solutions, and feel responsible for the quality of what you deliver.
Experience with CockroachDB, ClickHouse, or GCP is a nice bonus, but not a strict requirement; your mindset and skills are more important than degrees.

Gross monthly salary between €2,800 and €3,800 based on full-time, depending on your experience as a Software Developer / Full Stack Developer.
Permanent contract or extensive contract process in consultation, including a company laptop.
Full-time workweek with flexibility to arrange working hours; hybrid working is negotiable depending on the team.
Work with a modern stack: React, Python/FastAPI, CockroachDB, ClickHouse, GCP, and excellent developer tooling.
